Sun Damage

My thesis follows a group of wealthy young adults vacationing for the summer on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It explores the dynamic between these seasonal visitors and locals, as well as the lack of empathy that results from excessive privilege. After Avery, a bloated degenerate, assaults a teenager in view of two witnesses, his friends must choose whether or not they will help him evade the police. This choice is further complicated by the victim's worsening condition, and a hitchhiker seeking to profit off the cover-up.
