Identity Limbo: Negotiating Mixed Identity and Nationalism in "Homogeneous" Japan
This thesis is an exploration of my multiracial/ethnic/cultural background, focused specifically on how I relate to my identity in terms of my home country, Japan. Through personal memoir, interviews, historical research, and more, I aim to get to the root of what I call a state of "identity limbo."
