As a child, Sandy McGregor’s father told her that luck was in her hands. By the time she reached middle age, her obsession with controlling her luck was well out of hand. She wins a goat on a game show, loses her husband and her job, and moves to a coastal town to start over only to discover she’s deep in debt. But she’s in luck, her new goat is a genius at poker. With a new love interest, her scatterbrained uncle, and a goat named Monty, Sandy enters a tournament and learns to give in to blind chance.
