"El Morro y la Muralla": Mapping Representations of Chinese Cuban Identity

This work looks at the preservation and construction of Chinese diasporic identity in Cuba. Representations from the Cuban Wars for Independence, the Special Period, and Cuba's current state of transition reveal how Chinese Cuban identity has been constructed based on the constraints of Cuban history.
