Depressed and deeply in debt, Michael Pear is about to commit suicide when he is interrupted by a mysterious stranger who offers to help him find a job. Michael agrees and begins work at Dadda Corp, where his job is to answer invasive but seemingly harmless questions about strangers. Initially grateful just to be employed, Michael soon starts to question the true nature of Dadda's business, and launches an investigation that will end up changing the world - forever.
