General Description

This spice box is designed like a windmill, and has a door-shaped piece of sheet metal with a Star of David stamped onto it. At the bottom of each foot is a marking, "Sterling." There is an identically designed object on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Judaica-Sterling-Silver-925-Havdala-Besamim-Tower-Windmill-Spice-Jar-/371191323894?pt=Antiques_Silver&hash=item566cba1cf6) with a hallmark and makers' mark. The makers' mark is of Ben-Zion David, a contemporary filigree artist living in Jerusalem.
